Downtown Los Angeles, I suppose, along with Old Pasadena, and the restaurant streets of Monrovia, Arcadia and Whittier. It’s actually a tad tough to name parts of the San Gabriel Valley not dominated by the parking-convenient world of mini-mall food. The mini-mall has evolved over the years from a blight upon the landscape into a culinary Oz filled with endless wonders, and edible surprises.
